Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager - Finance and Accounts to lead our finance and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring financial health, regulatory compliance, and supporting business growth initiatives. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in financial management, analytical thinking, and effective team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:
oLead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
oDevelop and implement financial models for business planning, scenario analysis, and decision-making.
oConduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
oProvide insightful financial reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
Accounting & Reporting:
oOversee all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll.
oEnsure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and other relevant regulations.
oManage month-end and year-end closing processes.
oCoordinate and manage internal and external audits.
Treasury & Cash Management:
oManage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital efficiently.
oDevelop and implement strategies for optimizing cash utilization and investment.
oManage banking relationships and facilities.
Taxation & Compliance:
oEnsure compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations (e.g., Income Tax, GST, TDS).
oOversee timely filing of all tax returns and assessments.
oStay updated on changes in tax laws and advise management on potential impacts.
oEnsure adherence to all statutory and regulatory compliances.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
oEstablish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
oIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of finance operations.
oDevelop and update financial policies and procedures.
Team Leadership & Development:
oLead, mentor, and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals.
oFoster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.
oConduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Strategic Support:
oProvide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives, business development, and investment decisions.
oCollaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives.
oParticipate in special projects as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) is desirable.
MBA in Finance from a reputed institution is highly desirable.
Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 6 years in a managerial capacity, preferably within thetechnology, manufacturing sector.
Proven experience with Ind AS.
Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
In-depth knowledge of Indian taxation laws (direct and indirect).
Excellent proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential with AI applicability.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
