Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Finance Leader to take ownership of end-to-end finance operations across both company and fund entities.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role that sits at the intersection of:
- Finance & Accounting
- Fund Operations & LP Management
- Investment Analysis & Due Diligence
- Legal & Compliance
You will play a critical role in building financial structure, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions, and supporting investment and portfolio operations.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Own end-to-end finance operations across multiple entities
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, audits, taxation, and cash flow planning
- Build and maintain strong internal controls and financial governance frameworks
Financial Operations
- Manage day-to-day finance functions including AP/AR, banking, payments, and vendor management
- Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of financial processes
Compliance & Legal
- Ensure multi-jurisdictional compliance across global entities
- Maintain company agreements, financial documentation, and governance processes
- Drive risk management and regulatory adherence
Fund Operations & LP Management
- Lead fund operations, including:
- LPAs & subscription agreements
- Capital calls & distributions
- Investor (LP) reporting & communication
- Ensure compliance with fund-level regulatory requirements
Investment & Portfolio Management
- Support investment analysis and due diligence
- Manage portfolio tracking, investment accounting, and cost allocation
- Maintain structured and centralized financial and investment records
Equity & Cap Table Management
- Manage cap tables, equity allocations, and vesting schedules
- Maintain a centralized repository for legal, financial, and investment documentation
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8+ years of experience in finance, fund operations, or due diligence
- 3–5 years of experience working with US-based companies
- Strong understanding of:
- US GAAP
- Delaware C-Corp structures
- Cross-border financial operations and compliance
- Experience in VC/PE, fund setup, LP coordination, or financial/legal documentation
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ownership mindset
- Hands-on experience with tools like QuickBooks or similar financial systems
- Excellent English communication skills (mandatory)
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-entity global environment
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience in venture capital, private equity, or startup ecosystems
- Exposure to global fund structures and investor reporting
