Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Finance Functional Consultant with extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O). The ideal candidate will lead and support the end-to-end implementation of D365 Finance modules, providing expertise in financial processes, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the requirements gathering, solution design, and configuration of D365 F&O Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, and Project Accounting.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze and map business processes to Dynamics 365 functionalities.
- Prepare functional design documentation, including business process flows, gap analysis, and integration requirements.
- Configure and customize the finance modules as per business needs.
- Conduct workshops, UAT sessions, and user training for finance teams.
- Provide leadership in data migration planning and validation for financial data.
- Collaborate with technical teams (developers, data migration experts, system architects) to ensure accurate implementation.
- Support integration of D365 with other systems (e.g., payroll, banks, 3rd party reporting tools).
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support post-deployment.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities and proposals, when needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years of experience as a Finance Functional Consultant, with at least 5 years focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R).
- Demonstrated experience in at least 2 full lifecycle implementations of D365 Finance.
- Proficiency in using Lifecycle Services (LCS), DevOps (Azure), and Business Process Modeler.
- Experience with Data Management Framework (DMF) for data migration.
- Ability to write and review functional requirement documents (FRDs), test scripts, and training materials.
- Understanding of Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate) is a plus.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., MB-310: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant) are preferred.
