Senior Finance Controller

Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Controller to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the financial reporting processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, while contributing to the overall financial strategy of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and reports for management and stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital, ensuring the company maintains sufficient liquidity.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support in their development.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (CA, CPA, CMA) is preferred.
• 6-15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on financial controlling or reporting.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience in mentoring junior staff.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to present financial information clearly to stakeholders.
