Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Finance Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and financial analysis to support business decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial regulations, and experience in financial operations within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis to support business decisions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee invoicing, payments, and collections, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, taxation (GST & TDS), and internal policies. Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Expense Management: Monitor company expenses, ensure cost control measures, and optimize financial operations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement financial process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Operations, and Sales, to support financial decision-making.
Qualification and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. Semi-qualified CAs with strong articleship experience will be preferred.
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis.
Key Skills:
- Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar tools).
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
