We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to join our team as Executive / Assistant Manager - Purchase. The role involves managing procurement activities including purchase requisitions, vendor coordination, negotiations, and ensuring timely availability of materials while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Procurement: Processing purchase requisition (PRs) to Purchase Order (POs) with Handling RFQs and ensuring material availability.
Vendor Management: Coordinating with suppliers, tracking shipment, handling deliveries, resolving deliveries issue and maintaining vendor data.
Printing and Marketing: Source, evaluate and manage vendors for the digital and offset printing.
Promotional: Procure promotional material, corporate stationery and marketing collateral a based on marketing team requirement.
Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to optimize pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms while maintaining quality standards.
Inventory & Demand Planning Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all purchased products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate smooth communication and resolve any issues that may arise.
Cost Management: Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies to improve procurement processes and reduce overall expenses.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier agreements.
