Job Summery

Sr Exe MICE Ops Ticketing is responsible for managing all aspects of air travel for

large-scale corporate events, including meetings, incentives, conferences, and

exhibitions (MICE). This specialized role requires a combination of strong technical

skills in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and excellent client coordination abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Air Ticketing and Reservations: Handle end-to-end domestic and

international flight bookings, modifications, and cancellations for large groups.

This involves managing passenger manifests and adhering to complex airline

policies and fare rules. (Primary Role)

Land/Logistics/Events - Deal with other land mice packages , logistics,

events (Secondary Role)

GDS Operations: Utilize Global Distribution Systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre,

Galileo) to search for optimal routes, construct fares, and issue tickets

efficiently for group travel.

Coordination and Client Support: Work closely with clients, project

managers, and internal teams to understand travel requirements, define travel

briefs, and provide timely updates and support.

Airline Liaison and Negotiation: Build and maintain relationships with

various airlines to negotiate competitive rates, manage group contracts, and

ensure seamless service delivery.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed itineraries, handle all

necessary travel documentation, assist with visa processing (if required), and

generate reports on operations and costs.

Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any travel-related issues, such as

flight disruptions, last-minute changes, or passenger emergencies, ensuring

minimal impact on the event schedule.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Experience: Proven experience (typically 2-4 years) in air ticketing, MICE

group reservations, or corporate travel management and MICE ops and

hands on experience/knowledge on land, logistics and events

Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of GDS software (Amadeus,

Sabre, Galileo) is essential.

Education: A Bachelor's degree or a Diploma in Travel & Tourism is often

preferred, and IATA certification is a plus.

Soft Skills: Strong coordination, communication, multitasking, and

negotiation skills are crucial. The ability to work under pressure and manage

large-scale simultaneous bookings is also vital.
