Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, creative individual to join our Marketing and Communications team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of content, design, digital marketing, and website management.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling, visual communication, branding, and emerging tools like AI, while also being hands-on with design software and website updates. You will play a key role in strengthening our brand presence across platforms through impactful content, modern visuals, and engaging digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Communication
- Conduct market and audience research to identify trends, opportunities, and content direction
- Write clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content across multiple platforms, including social media, website, and marketing collateral
- Leverage tools to enhance content creation, quality, efficiency, and innovation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams to ensure cohesive and timely content delivery
- Maintain and follow a structured content calendar
- Share creative ideas to build and manage social media presence
- Stay updated on social media trends, video styles, and content formats that resonate with our audience
- Support basic editing tasks such as adding subtitles, designing thumbnails, and writing captions to improve visibility and reach
Design
- Research modern design trends and emulate them under the umbrella of the organization's branding
- Create engaging visual content, including images, videos, graphics, and campaign creatives
- Support designing collateral and promotional literature
- Work closely with internal teams to bring brand campaigns to life through impressive visuals
- Design and edit PowerPoint presentations for client meetings and internal discussions
- Basic image editing tasks such as colour corrections, cleaning pictures, and exporting assets in appropriate formats
- Using Adobe Photoshop or similar tools
- Create and edit brochures in Adobe InDesign
- Create and edit vector artworks in Adobe Illustrator, such as ID cards, business cards, corporate stationery, and other branded assets
- Create short-form videos using tools such as Canva or similar platforms
Digital and Website Management
- Update and manage website content regularly, including images, projects, thought leadership, etc.
- Edit page layouts within the website theme for a better user experience
- Create forms and landing page elements as needed
- Update website plugins and ensure smooth performance
- Test new developments and updates across multiple devices and screen sizes to ensure responsiveness and quality
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Media, or a related field
- 24 years of relevant experience in a marketing, content, or creative role
- Strong writing and communication skills with attention to brand tone and clarity
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva
- Experience creating presentations and artworks using PowerPoint
- Familiarity with short-form video editing tools
- Working knowledge of website management (WordPress or similar preferred)
- Comfortable experimenting with AI and trending tools for content creation and productivity
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
