Key Responsibilities
As the Sales & Marketing lead, your core duties will include:
- Client Pitching & Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage potential B2B clients, including real estate developers, architects, consultants, and corporate clients, to generate new business opportunities for elevator installations and maintenance contracts.
- Strategic Presentation: Develop and deliver high-impact, persuasive sales presentations and technical demonstrations, clearly articulating the value proposition of Navkar Metal India to key decision-makers.
- Sales Closing & Negotiation: Expertly manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and negotiation through contract finalization and deal closure, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Market Analysis: Conduct detailed market research to understand the competitive landscape, pricing trends, and customer needs specific to the Pune market.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the leadership team to execute local marketing initiatives and campaigns that enhance brand visibility and lead generation in the designated territory.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5-7 years of dedicated experience in Sales, Business Development, or Key Account Management, specifically within the Elevator, Escalator, or a closely related vertical transport/construction equipment industry.
- Location: Must be based in Mumbai and willing to travel Pan-India. Strong familiarity with the real estate and industrial market is essential.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth technical understanding of various elevator types (passenger, freight, hydraulic, traction), maintenance services, and industry regulations.
- Communication: Fluent proficiency in both written and spoken English, and excellent communication skills in Marathi/Hindi are highly preferred for local client engagement.
- Professionalism: Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and presentation abilities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Business Administration/Marketing is preferred.
