Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

  • Responsible for Preparing and execution of sitewide Equipements Maintenance Plan
  • Responsible for ensuring all site key equipements are in Green zone there by ensuring that site realise

its volume goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing and implementation of effective equipments Maintenance plan for Jhagadia

site assets as per Abbott policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for creating a detailed Maintenance schedule for function wise equipements and its related

KPIs tracking.

  • Responsible for preparing and updating equipements Health/History cards and there by ensuring that all

key equipments are in green zone to avoide unexpected break downs.

  • Responsible for Carrying out maintenance planning activities for large industrial equipments such as

fans, pumps, and boilers and their associated components such as bearings and actuators.

  • Responsible for review of RCA for determining frequent equipment problems / break down and

appropriate solutions, accordingly reviewing and updating maintance job plans.

  • Responsible for carrying out mathematical computations for estimating maintance cost ,spares

procurement for effective negotition with vendors/ supplier.

  • Responsible for maintaing effective working relationships with other personnel including operators,

vendors,contractors, subordinates, peers, and superiors.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and use information from files, drawings, catalogs, reports, and manuals.
  • Ability to maneuver continuously throughout plant to observe equipment.
  • Reponsible for timely escalation of any changes in planning impacting plant volume deliverables.
  • Assist Senior Manager - Engineering for preparing annual budegeting / LBE plan related to site

Maintenance .

  • Responsible for Collaborating with regional / divisional engineering team and execute best practicies at

the site.

  • Participate in internal / external audits.
  • Site administrator for implementing changes in Maximo data base.
  • Conduct necessary training for providing maximo access to new/ existing users.
  • Act as an interface between Regional/Division Engineering and Plant Engineering.
  • Liaise with the Reliability Engineer on implementation of the PdM program

Qualifications

Education

  • Gradute Engineer with 8-10 years of relevant experience in Food / Phrma / FMCG industires.
  • Must have minimum 2 years of experience in Maintenance planner/ scheduler position.
  • Must have hands on exposer in SAP & Maximo.

Experience/Background

  • Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment in the maintenance of manufacturing and

utilities systems.

  • Excellent Written and Verbal communicate Skills.
  • Good Analytical Skills / Decision Marking Abilities
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Highly analytical in nature, able to interpret, manipulate, and present data using exceptional computer skills.
  • Good understanding of World Class Maintenance practices and expectations
