About The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Logistics Lead to drive end-to-end warehousing and distribution operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring efficient stock movement, optimized logistics cost, and high service levels across the supply chain network.

The ideal candidate should bring hands-on experience in FMCG logistics, strong operational control, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across sales, suppliers, and warehouse partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics & Distribution Management: Oversee and streamline the movement of FG (Finished Goods) stocks, ensuring efficient primary and secondary distribution.
  • Warehouse & CFA Operations: Establish and manage CFA setups at new locations based on business expansion. Drive operational excellence across warehouses, ensuring adherence to SOPs and SLAs. Handle operational and statutory complexities related to warehouse operations.
  • Inventory & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to inventory norms and compliance requirements at all CFA locations. Implement best practices for stock management and minimize wastage.
  • Demand Fulfilment & Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Sales team to meet distributor demand while optimizing costs and lead times.
  • Stock Placement & Transportation: Strategically plan and execute stock placements across various locations using primary and secondary transportation modes to ensure seamless availability.
  • Cost Optimization & Efficiency: Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs while maintaining high service levels. Implement process improvements and best-in-class logistics practices.
  • Automation & Technology Enablement: Drive adoption of automation and digital tools (ERP/WMS, dashboards, analytics) to enhance visibility, improve operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making across logistics operations.

Education

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Experience

  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience in logistics, warehousing and distribution preferably in the FMCG or food sector.

Skills

  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management systems, and warehouse management. Expertise in ERP/SAP systems is required.
  • Strong execution mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Data-driven approach to problem-solving
