We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory & Distribution Planner to manage end-to-end inventory planning and ensure optimal stock availability across warehouses and channels. This role plays a critical part in balancing demand, supply, and distribution efficiency to support business growth while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute inventory replenishment across fulfilment centers aligned to channel demand (B2C, Quick Commerce, GT, MT)
- Maintain ROP and safety stock models by SKU and warehouse; trigger POs and inter-warehouse transfers
- Monitor daily inventory levels, track deviations from DOI, and proactively flag stock risks (stockouts/overstock)
- Own distribution planning for new launches, campaigns, and seasonal spikes in collaboration with Marketing and Commercial teams
- Coordinate with 3PL partners and warehouse teams for inbound, inter-node transfers, and GRN timelines
- Track and improve key metrics: Fill Rate, O2S, S2D, Inventory Turns
- Build dashboards and reports using Excel, BigQuery, EasyEcom; share actionable insights with stakeholders
- Partner with Procurement on PO timelines, vendor lead times, and MOQ adherence
- Manage aging and slow-moving inventory through liquidation or reallocation strategies
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of inventory planning concepts (ROP, safety stock, DOI, fill rate)
- Hands-on experience in distribution planning across multiple channels
- Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; knowledge of SQL / BigQuery is a plus
- Experience with ERP / WMS / OMS tools (e.g., EasyEcom or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and drive execution
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Commerce, or related field MBA preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in inventory planning / supply chain / operations
- Experience in e-commerce, FMCG, or retail preferred
