Senior Executive- Intellectual Property and Legal

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated IP & Legal professional. The role involves handling Patents, Trademarks, Agreements, and other legal documentation while working closely with R&D, Regulatory, business, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

* Possess practical knowledge in working with patent databases, including regional patent office databases and platforms like Orbit, SciFinder and NCBI Sequence searches

* Hands-on familiarity with Vaccines, Diagnostics and Biotherapeutics, including knowledge of their life cycles.

* Assist in patent drafting, filing, and prosecution (life sciences/Biotech/ Vaccines)

* Support patent searches, patentability, patent landscape and FTO analysis

* Draft and review NDAs, MTAs, and collaboration agreements

* Coordinate with external patent attorneys and consultants

* Support IP and legal requirements for consulting engagements

* Maintain IP records, timelines, and compliance

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

• Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Microchemistry (mandatory)
• A Bachelor's degree in Law will be an added advantage

Experience

* 2–3 years of relevant experience in a law firm or biotechnology company

Skills and Competencies

* Strong analytical, research, and documentation skills

* Ability to coordinate with scientists, external counsel, and consultants

* Good written and verbal communication skills
