Cloud engineer-Azure infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, engineer, deploy, and operationally manage cloud infrastructure on Azure (primary) and AWS (secondary)
• Automate cloud deployments using Terraform and Ansible to reduce manual effort and errors
• Implement Azure IaaS/PaaS services: VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Load Balancer, Bastion, Private Endpoints, AKS, App Services, Functions, containerized workloads
• Configure hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute/VPN) and Landing Zones using Azure Policy/Blueprints
• Optimize cloud costs using Azure Advisor, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and tagging strategies
• Implement security best practices: RBAC, PIM, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, zero-trust principles
• Support audits, VAPT, and Red Team assessments
• Monitor cloud resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights; implement Backup and Site Recovery (ASR) for DR scenarios
• Troubleshoot networking (NSGs, routing, DNS), compute, storage, and identity issues; perform root cause analysis for incidents
• Liaise with app, DB, and network teams for incident resolution; handle Sev-1/Sev-2 escalations
• Support Cloud/OnPrem to Cloud migration strategies and hybrid integrations
• Assist in AWS cloud operations (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3) for multi-cloud interoperability
