Location: Navi Mumbai (Local candidates preferred)

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated IP & Legal professional. The role involves handling Patents, Trademarks, Agreements, and other legal documentation while working closely with R&D, Regulatory, business, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Possess practical knowledge in working with patent databases, including regional patent office databases and platforms like Orbit, SciFinder and NCBI Sequence searches

Hands-on familiarity with Vaccines, Diagnostics and Biotherapeutics, including knowledge of their life cycles.

Assist in patent drafting, filing, and prosecution (life sciences/Biotech/ Vaccines)

Support patent searches, patentability, patent landscape and FTO analysis

Draft and review NDAs, MTAs, and collaboration agreements

Coordinate with external patent attorneys and consultants

Support IP and legal requirements for consulting engagements

Maintain IP records, timelines, and compliance

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

* Postgraduate degree in Biotechnology (mandatory)

* A Bachelor's degree in Law will be an added advantage

Experience

* 23 years of relevant experience in a law firm or biotechnology company

Skills and Competencies

* Strong analytical, research, and documentation skills

* Ability to coordinate with scientists, external counsel, and consultants

* Good written and verbal communication skills
