Job Description

Role Summary

The Senior Executive Human Resources will support end-to-end HR operations across corporate and field teams at Food Whisperer. This role focuses on HR operations, employee lifecycle management, compliance, engagement, and coordination with business stakeholders, ensuring smooth people processes in a fast-paced food and hospitality ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage onboarding and induction for new joiners across locations.
  • Ensure timely issuance of offer letters, appointment letters, and confirmations.
  • Maintain and update employee records, HRMS, and personnel files.
  • Handle exits, full & final settlements, and exit documentation.

2. HR Operations & Payroll Support

  • Coordinate monthly attendance, leave, and payroll inputs with internal teams and vendors.
  • Monitor biometric/attendance systems and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support payroll audits and employee salary-related queries.
  • Ensure adherence to internal HR policies and SOPs.

3. Statutory Compliance & Documentation

  • Support compliance related to PF, ESIC, PT, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, and other labor laws (India).
  • Maintain statutory registers and records as required.

4. Performance Management & Engagement

  • Assist in performance appraisal cycles, self-appraisals, manager reviews, and HR evaluations.
  • Support execution of employee engagement initiatives, town halls, celebrations, and recognition programs.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and HR support.

5. Stakeholder & Business Support

  • Work closely with operations, tech, finance, and leadership teams for HR coordination.
  • Support multi-location workforce needs, especially frontline and operational staff.
  • Help implement HR initiatives aligned with business growth and culture.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of HR operations & Indian labor laws
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS, payroll coordination, and attendance systems
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word

Behavioral Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and ownership mindset
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources (preferred)
  • 35 years of experience in HR operations
  • Prior experience in hospitality, Restaurants, QSR and food services is an advantage
