Role Overview
We are looking for a sincere and meticulous HR personnel to join the HR team at DIT University. The role involves managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and HR coordination across the various Schools of the University. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, a quick learner, and comfortable working in a university set-up with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Selection
- Manage the complete recruitment cycle sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, and selection for academic and non-academic positions.
- Post and manage job openings on job portals such as Naukri, LinkedIn and build and maintain a candidate pipeline.
- Coordinate with Heads of Schools and departments to understand manpower requirements and close positions within timelines.
- Conduct initial screening and schedule interview rounds; assist in offer roll-outs and pre-joining formalities.
- Maintain recruitment MIS, trackers, and reports to ensure process visibility.
- Maintain documentation (paperwork) wherever required.
- Prepare reports about the recruitment phases, Offers Released, Candidates Joined etc.
Onboarding & Induction
- Plan and execute structured onboarding for new joiners to ensure a smooth transition into the University.
- Coordinate joining formalities, documentation, background verification, ID issuance, and orientation schedules.
Liaising & Coordination
- Act as the HR point of contact for multiple Schools under DIT University; build strong working relationships with faculty and administrative staff.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources (mandatory).
- Prior experience in the education or service sector will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies Required
- Good communication skills verbal and written (English and Hindi).
- Strong comprehension skills with the ability to understand role requirements and candidate fitment accurately.
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience working on job portals and LinkedIn for sourcing and recruitment.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented in documentation, data entry, and record-keeping.
- Sincere, self-driven, and accountable, able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Adaptable and a keen learner, willing to understand and align with university processes, policies, and culture.
- Good liaising and coordination skills to work effectively with multiple Schools and departments within the University.
