Role Objective

We are looking for a finance professional to manage end-to-end accounting operations across project entities, with a strong focus on accounts payable, financial closures, compliance, and stakeholder coordination. The role will also play a key part in driving ERP standardization and ensuring audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable, Banking & Lender Coordination, Tax Compliances

  • Oversee end-to-end accounts payable process including invoice verification, approvals, and payment processing
  • Ensure proper accounting and timely booking of vendor invoices
  • Maintain vendor ledgers and perform periodic reconciliations
  • Track payable ageing and manage vendor queries and escalations
  • Handle day-to-day banking operations including documentation, disbursements, and repayments
  • Track loan schedules, interest servicing, and ensure timely EMI payments
  • Monitor compliance with loan covenants and coordinate submission of required information to lenders
  • Manage bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies proactively
  • Ensure timely deduction and payment of TDS and other applicable taxes
  • Prepare and file TDS/GST returns in compliance with statutory timelines
  • Reconcile tax ledgers and ensure accuracy of filings

Financial Closures

  • Manage end-to-end financial closure for 2–3 project entities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Ensure timely book closure with accurate provisioning, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Coordinate with internal teams to capture all project-related expenses and revenues
  • Prepare and review financial statements and MIS for respective entities
  • Ensure readiness of books for audit and management review

ERP Standardization & Process Improvement

  • Support implementation, standardization, and stabilization of ERP systems across entities
  • Ensure uniform accounting practices and chart of accounts across business units
  • Identify process gaps and drive automation and efficiency through ERP
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for ERP enhancements and issue resolution

Audit & Compliance Support

  • Provide required data, schedules, and documentation for internal and external audits
  • Ensure proper audit trail and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Assist in closure of audit observations and implementation of recommendations

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (projects, legal, facility, leasing etc.) for smooth financial operations
  • Support finance team in ad-hoc analysis and reporting requirements

Educational Qualification, Experience And Skills

  • CA (Inter) / M.Com with relevant experience
  • Relevant years of relevant experience in finance and accounting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience in managing closures, audits, and statutory compliance
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
