Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Executive EXIM to manage all export-import operations, ensuring smooth logistics, full regulatory compliance, and timely execution of all shipments. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in EXIM documentation, a deep understanding of customs regulations, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End EXIM Management: Manage all aspects of EXIM operations, from preparing and verifying essential documents like the Shipping Bill, Bill of Entry, and Packing List to coordinating with freight forwarders, customs, and port authorities for seamless shipment movement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations, including those from Customs, DGFT, and ICEGATE. The role also involves handling specialized compliance like Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments, BIS certifications, and EPR registration.
  • Benefit and Audit Management: Avail all applicable export-import benefits, such as Advance Authorization and Duty Drawback. Ensure continuous compliance with AEO guidelines and maintain accurate documentation for audits.
  • Financial and Administrative Coordination: Liaise with finance for documentation, LC coordination, and bank compliance. Maintain accurate records and generate MIS reports using advanced Excel tools (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Policy and Market Awareness: Stay updated on the latest changes in EXIM policy and customs laws. You should be well-versed in identifying and applying relevant customs notifications to secure duty exemptions.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-8 years in EXIM operations, with a preference for candidates from the chemical or engineering sectors.
  • Education: A B.E./B.Tech degree in any discipline.
  • Skills:
  • Deep understanding of export-import compliance, documentation, and regulations.
  • Experience with DG shipments, BIS, and EPR compliance.
  • Working knowledge of SVB procedures and AEO documentation.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with SEZ/FTZ/ICEGATE portals.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
