Job Description

As part of the Corporate Services (CSS) team in NUP, you will play a crucial role in the coordination and management of our Data Governance & Protection efforts to ensure regulatory compliance and strengthening overall governance to enable safe effective operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks such as the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and risk assessment protocols, etc. Additionally, you will support Enterprise Risk Management programme and work to enhance overall governance structures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure the institution complies with the PDPA, especially in handling patients personal and medical information.
  • Support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in aligning operations, systems, and communications with PDPA obligations.
  • Prepare and support internal audits or external reviews on data governance & protection.
  • Provide end to end data breach management for assigned clinics, including coordinate internal response to data breaches containment, incident investigation, root cause analysis, documentation and reporting.
  • Perform data collation, analysis and preparation of presentation slides and reports to monitor performance.
  • Support recognition of data protection efforts within the institution.
  • Plan and execute education & awareness initiatives to raise organisational awareness and promote a strong risk-attuned culture.
  • Support coordination for risk profiling activities and roll-out of risk management system.
  • Responsible for financial and administrative duties to keep the department running.
  • Successful execution of other matters as and when assigned by RO and HOD

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline with keen interest in healthcare (fresh graduates welcome)
  • Familiarity with PDPA, risk management or audit preferred
  • Adaptable with positive attitude and ability to learn new skills
  • Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills for building stakeholder relationships
  • Effective teamwork and independent working capabilities
  • Organised and meticulous with ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
