Senior Executive - Channel Marketing, Colors Marathi

Colors Marathi is a family entertainment channel that mirrors Maharashtra's cultural ethos and spirit through a range of unique differentiated content created to redefine the family viewing experience. Pioneers of the Marathi General Entertainment Genre, COLORS Marathi has many firsts to its credit. The channel was the first to experiment with new homegrown non-fiction formats like Bigg Boss Marathi, Dholkichya Talavar, Sur Nava Dhyas Nava that has revolutionized the Marathi Television space. On the fiction front COLORS Marathi has had a glorious run with landmark shows like Balumamachya Navan Changbhala, Jai Jai Swami Samarth, Kasturi, Kavyanjali, Sundara Manamadhe Bharli, Bhagya Dile Tu Mala, Jeev Maza Guntala, Yogyogeshwar Jai Shankar and many more thus establishing new standards of scale and grandeur in Marathi Television history.

Moreover, we have successfully launched new shows like Idrayani and Sukh Kalaley, further enriching our content offerings and catering to the diverse interests of our audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the brand custodian for Colors Marathi with end-to-end marketing and brand planning.
• Independently manage fiction and non-fiction shows, from consumer insights, creative briefs, sales support, multimedia launch planning, to sustenance marketing and budget oversight.
• Drive channel reach, viewership, and share goals through innovative ATL + BTL initiatives during launches and in the sustenance phase.
• Partner with internal teams (Sales, Research, Programming, Digital, Corporate) and external stakeholders (agencies, vendors, media partners) to ensure seamless campaign execution.
• Build digital buzz across social platforms, JioCinema/Hotstar, and channel website for new and existing shows.
• Create pre-launch sales decks, post-launch evaluation reports, and award case studies showcasing the channel's marketing strength.
• Conduct and participate in consumer immersions, content-feedback groups, and market visits to bring back insights that shape marketing strategy.
• Identify opportunities for cross-functional integrations and brand partnerships that amplify campaign impact.

Skills & Attributes for Success

• Strong grasp of ATL + BTL media-planning and buying, with ability to translate insights into impactful campaigns.
• High creative aptitude with ability to write and think in Marathi (preferred).
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Canva, and presentation-building.
• Strong project management, multitasking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Consumer-first mindset with ability to connect insights to marketing strategy.
• Comfort with both big-ticket launches (e.g., Bigg Boss Marathi) and daily sustenance campaigns.

Preferred Education & Experience

• MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Media, or Communications (preferred but not mandatory).
• 2-4 years of experience in channel marketing, brand management, or media planningideally within Broadcast, OTT, or Creative Agencies handling entertainment accounts.
• Prior experience in regional entertainment marketing (Marathi content) will be an added advantage.
