About The Role
We are looking for a driven, student-focused, and result-oriented Senior Business Development Executive (Senior BDE) to handle core counselling and calling responsibilities for our UPSC online classroom programs.
This is a pure individual contributor role, focused on student counselling, follow-ups, and enrollments. The role requires end-to-end ownership of sales conversations with serious UPSC aspirants and parents, strong objection-handling ability, and consistent performance in a premium EdTech / B2C sales environment.
This position does not involve any managerial or team-handling responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Handle inbound and outbound counselling calls for UPSC online classroom programs.
- Convert qualified and high-intent leads into confirmed enrollments.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly individual revenue and enrollment targets.
- Pitch UPSC programs effectively by aligning program structure, faculty strength, preparation roadmap, and outcomes with student goals.
- Drive high-value conversions through disciplined follow-ups and effective objection handling.
Student Counselling & Relationship Management
- Understand student background, preparation level, eligibility, and UPSC exam requirements before counselling.
- Provide need-based, honest guidance to aspirants and parents.
- Maintain timely and structured follow-ups with high-intent leads until closure.
- Build trust and credibility by addressing pricing, comparison, and outcome-related concerns professionally.
Process & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate and real-time updates on CRM tools (e.g., LeadSquared), including call logs and follow-ups.
- Follow defined sales and counselling workflows with strict CRM hygiene.
- Track personal performance metrics such as calls, conversions, revenue, and lead aging.
Feedback & Coordination
- Share regular feedback related to student expectations, pricing sensitivity, competitor offerings, and market trends in the UPSC segment.
- Highlight recurring objections and counselling challenges to reporting managers.
What We're Looking For
- 23 years of experience in EdTech or B2C sales, preferably in UPSC or long-duration academic programs.
- Proven experience in core calling and counselling roles with consistent closures.
- Strong understanding of the UPSC aspirant decision-making journey.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, calling tools, and Excel / Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and objection-handling skills.
- Ability to perform in a target-driven and accountability-focused environment.
