Description
Mandatory skills- Oracle PL/SQL (MUST HAVE).
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored for the Risk team.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and effective data visualizations.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, Excel, and other banking systems, to ensure comprehensive reporting.
- Optimize data models and DAX queries for improved performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with risk analysts to understand and address regulatory and compliance reporting needs, such as those related to IFRS 9.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data across all reports.
- Provide support and training for end-users on Power BI functionalities to enhance adoption and effective use.
- Participate in data governance and quality initiatives within the Risk department.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Total IT Experience: At least 8 years of professional experience in IT roles.
- Power BI Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques.
- Experience working with SQL Server, Excel, and a variety of other data sources.
- Familiarity with banking risk concepts, especially IFRS 9, is highly desirable.
- Understanding of ETL processes and principles of data warehousing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and effective stakeholder management capabilities.
