Our client is a UK subsidiary of a global financial firm, operating across multiple markets and asset classes. We are expanding our international development and support team for back-office applications, including regulatory reporting, settlements, and reconciliation.
We are seeking an experienced ETL/Java Developer to join a mixed Luxoft/client team, focusing on new functionality development. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work directly with business users, enhance technical and capital markets knowledge, and develop consulting and soft skills.
Technologies Used:
- MS SQL, Java 8/J2EE, Spring, Apache Camel
- Bespoke mapping language, Shell scripting, Control-M
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the client to understand and gather requirements.
- Develop and enhance applications using Java, SQL, MA, and shell scripting.
- Write unit and functional tests to ensure software quality.
- Provide Level 3 support, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of ETL experience (MS SQL preferred).
- 1+ year of experience with Java 8/J2EE.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Framework.
- Experience in the financial domain (preferably in regulatory reporting).
- Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Additional experience with MS SQL.
- Familiarity with Apache Camel.
