About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior ERPNext Developer with strong hands-on experience

in ERPNext and Frappe framework development. The role involves frontend and

backend development, UI customization, custom app creation, integrations,

and deployment of ERPNext solutions in cloud environments such as AWS or

Azure.

You will work closely with the ERP Product Manager / Functional Architect and

cross-functional teams to build, customize, deploy, and support ERPNext

applications that power core business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

ERPNext & Frappe Development

Develop and customize ERPNext modules using the Frappe framework.

Create and maintain custom DocTypes, workflows, scripts, reports, and

dashboards.

Implement server-side logic using Python and client-side customizations

using JavaScript.

Develop and manage custom ERPNext apps as per business requirements.

Frontend & UI Customization

Customize ERPNext UI using Jinja templates, JavaScript, CSS, and

Frappe UI components.

Implement form-level, list-view, and report-level customizations.

Enhance user experience while maintaining ERPNext upgrade compatibility.

Backend, Integrations & APIs

Build and consume REST APIs for integration with internal and external

systems.

Implement background jobs, scheduled tasks, and event hooks.

Optimize database queries and system performance using MariaDB/MySQL.

Deployment, Cloud & DevOps

Deploy ERPNext instances on AWS or Azure using best practices.

Configure and manage Frappe Bench, production setups, and multi-site

environments.

Handle CI/CD pipelines, backups, security patches, and performance

tuning.

Support ERPNext upgrades, version migrations, and environment

management.

Support, Debugging & Collaboration

Provide L2/L3 production support, debugging, and root cause analysis.

Work closely with functional teams to understand requirements and deliver

solutions.

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and release cycles.

Ensure proper documentation of customizations and technical designs.

Must-Have Skills:

24 years of hands-on experience in ERPNext and Frappe framework.

Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

Experience in ERPNext frontend and backend customization.

Hands-on experience with Frappe Bench, custom apps, and deployments.

Working knowledge of MariaDB/MySQL.

Experience deploying and managing ERPNext on AWS or Azure.

Understanding of ERP concepts: Accounting, Inventory, Procurement, HR, or

Operations.

Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good-to-Have:

Experience in Fintech, Payments, or transaction-heavy platforms.

Knowledge of Docker, Nginx, Redis, Supervisor in ERPNext setups.

Exposure to CI/CD tools, Git workflows, and version control.

Experience with performance optimization and security hardening.

Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or agile development practices.

Experience working in multi-tenant ERPNext environments.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

ERPNext / Frappe certifications or community contributions are a plus.
