Senior Engineering Manager Cloud & AI

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Engineering Leadership

• Lead the design, development, and operations of Esko's Cloud Platforma multi-tenant, API-first, secure, and scalable foundation for Esko's SaaS products.
• Oversee core services, identity and access management, observability, DevOps tooling, and cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS).
• Drive architectural modernization towards containerized, event-driven, and microservices-based systems.

AI Engineering & Enablement

• Build and scale the engineering foundation for AI services, working on use cases such as semantic extraction, compliance intelligence, variant generation, and packaging knowledge graphs.
• Partner with Product and Data Science teams to operationalize AI models from prototype to production using MLOps best practices.
• Ensure alignment with Esko's Responsible AI and Data Governance principles.

Technical & People Leadership

• Lead and manage a growing team of 1520 engineers and tech leads across cloud, AI, and platform enablement domains.
• Recruit, coach, and develop engineering talent to strengthen Esko's technical excellence in India, driving upskilling, mentoring, and career progression.
• Foster a culture of ownership, quality, and innovation, balancing delivery speed with operational stability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Security, and R&D leadership to define the platform roadmap and align AI priorities.
• Collaborate with Esko product teams (WebCenter, Automation Engine, Comply, etc.) to drive platform adoption and reuse.
• Serve as the technical interface to key vendor and cloud partners (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, OpenAI).
