Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team of engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams to define and deliver impactful features.
- Drive engineering excellence by setting and enforcing coding standards, best practices, and processes.
- Own the technical roadmap, planning, and execution of key product initiatives.
- Mentor and guide engineers in their technical and career growth.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high performance and availability standards.
- Proactively identify technical debt, architectural gaps, and opportunities for innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of software development experience with a strong foundation in system design, architecture, and scalability.
- 2+ years of experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
- Strong expertise in Java, Python, Node.js, React, AWS, etc.
- Proven track record of building and delivering complex products at scale.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A hands-on mindset with the ability to balance people management and technical oversight.
- Exposure to startup culture or fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Contributions to open-source projects or active tech community involvement.
