What you'll do
- Mentor and guide a team of highly motivated engineers.
- You foster a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability through passion and commitment to work.
- Conduct regular 1:1's with your team.
- Managing end-to-end product development and delivery for the Rewards and Promotions team.
- Owning the technical architecture and leading the engineering decisions for the product
- Collaborating with designers, developers, growth managers, and product managers to estimate and plan projects in an Agile environment
- Leading a team of engineers, mentoring them, and motivating them to solve complex problems.
- Be both a highly technical manager and an effective people manager.
- Communicate cross-functionally and drive engineering efforts
- Should have demonstrated ability to recruit and manage technical teams, including performance management
- Own metrics for the team like p95, p99, outages, etc.
