Key Responsibilities:
Design & Technical Work:
- Carry out engineering design tasks for stormwater drainage, wastewater, and wet utilities at all stages of project lifecycle.
- Conduct runoff assessments, storm drainage planning, and integrate SUDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems) features into networks.
- Validate existing drainage systems and propose value engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, 3D model coordination, 2D layout drawings, and standard details.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of hydraulic and hydrological engineering principles.
Modeling & Analysis:
- Develop base models using SewerGems, Infodrainage, or Microdrainage.
- Perform model optimization and validation.
- Plan future networks as per construction phasing and integrate with existing infrastructure.
Coordination & Collaboration:
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Lead/Principal Engineers, and Technical Managers.
- Collaborate with counterparts in India and globally on national and international projects.
- Check design and drawings produced by CAD technicians, ensuring quality and compliance.
Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure designs comply with local and international design codes, such as BC Codes, DMRB, ASCE, EPA, Euro Codes/CIRIA, and Indian codes.
- Maintain high quality deliverables adhering to corporate and client requirements.
