Key Purpose of Role:
For our Global Technology Office and in the frame of a multi-year journey to cloud, we are looking for a highly motivated: Front End Developer

This role has responsibility for development and expected to work in all areas of software engineering (Core Development, design, Implement, review, document,) as the demand dictates.

Job Description:

Responsibility / Tasks:

• Design complex PostgreSQL schemas with proper normalization, partitioning, and indexing for enterprise workloads
• Develop and optimize PL/pgSQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views for business logic
• Performance tuning: Analyze query execution plans, implement materialized views, and optimize for high concurrency
• Build ETL pipelines using PostgreSQL extensions (FDW, pg_cron) and integrate with enterprise tools
• Implement data security: Row-level security, encryption, audit logging, and compliance (GDPR/SOX)
• Collaborate on enterprise application architecture-work with .NET/Java backends, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Database migration, replication (streaming/logical), and high-availability setups (Patroni, pgBouncer)
• Proactive monitoring with pg_stat_statements, pgBadger, and custom dashboards

Required Skills & Experience

Core (5+ years hands-on)

• PostgreSQL 12+ (administration + development)
• Advanced SQL/PL/pgSQL (window functions, CTEs, JSONB)
• Query optimization (EXPLAIN ANALYZE, indexing strategies)
• Enterprise backups/recovery (pg_dump, WAL archiving, PITR)

Enterprise Application Integration

• REST/SOAP API data layers
• Microservices database patterns (database-per-service, sharding)
• ORM integration (Entity Framework, Hibernate)

Tools/Technologies

• pgAdmin, DBeaver, or DataGrip
• Docker/Kubernetes for DB deployments
• Monitoring: Grafana + Prometheus + postgres_exporter
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI

Qualification & Soft skills:

• 5-8 years PostgreSQL development in enterprise environments
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with GCP Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL/ Azure/AWS RDS.
• Excellent Communications Skills (Verbal & Non-Verbal
