Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Senior Engineer for our Network Operations Center (NOC) to monitor, troubleshoot and maintain our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in network operations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network performance and identify any issues or outages using various monitoring tools.
  • Analyze network data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot network issues, such as connectivity, latency, and bandwidth problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network problems and implement solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software upgrades and patch installation.
  • Respond to network incidents and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
  • Document network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and incident resolutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of network operations.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and be available for 24/7 support when needed.
  • Function as a Level 1 engineer primarily triaging all inbound tickets, day to day reporting tasks, alignment of cross functional teams as & when required and be part of war-rooms/bridge calls with customer during critical incidents.
  • Develop a good understanding of GreyOranges product-lines to effectively troubleshoot & solve problems at Level 1.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in network operations or a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
