Senior Engineer - Mechanical Design

Job Description

• Proficient in SolidWorks, UG, or Catia with 5+ years of hands-on experience in product design.
• Ability to manage the entire design process from concept to DVT stage, adhering to first principles of design methodology.
• Capable of technically project managing multiple projects, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of technical calculations relevant to Mechanical engineering, with a solid understanding of engineering principles.
• Demonstrates a strong drive to excel within the scope of work and is willing to go the extra mile, including travel when required.
• Working knowledge of DFMEA.
• Familiar with ECN and ECR processes.
• Proficient in using Team Center for product lifecycle management.
• Effective coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion.
  
  

Desired Qualification;

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with experience.
• 5+ year's experience in Mechanical Design.
• Hands on experience in Solid works Sheet metal, Complex Assemblies & Drawings creation (preferred or required).
• Hands-on experience in Team Centre, BOM creation, ECN, ECR (preferred or required).
• Basic Knowledge in Manufacturing processes.
• Previous experience in the renewable energy sector a plus
