Overview
General Summary:
- In this position, the candidate will be working with cross-functional teams to supporting Linux based automotive platform in virtualized env, should have demonstrated ownership of Linux Vehicle platform enablement across customer programs.
- Integration and maintenance (upgrade) of Linux kernel and kernel platform components.
- Should have worked on diff Kernel build strategies (Yocto‑based and Bazel‑based flows), kernel configuration, and version alignment.
- Should have solid understanding of Kernel bring‑up, boot validation, and early boot debugging in stand-alone and virtualized environments.
- Should have good Development experience of Device Drives or Services/Application in Linux platform , Kernel , features required for automotive virtualization use‑cases.
- Ability to customize LV builds for headless version , Security related distros.
- Should be able to collaborate with global platform, kernel, and virtualization teams to deliver stable releases.
- Driving technical discussions, design reviews, and onboarding/ramp‑up activities for Kernel topics.
- Operating systems concepts - scheduling, memory management and device drivers
- Using debug tools like GDB ,JTAG debugger, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
2 years to 8 years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Python, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
