Key Responsibilities
Interface with Factory Leadership:
Serve as the primary engineering escalation point of contact for the Factory Leader, supporting issue resolution related to safety, quality, and lead time.
Act as the main engineering counterpart to the Factory Leader, contributing to discussions with key customers on production challenges, technical topics, and decision-making.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with factory operations, methods, quality, supply chain, and product engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering activities from design through production.
Support and monitor continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Report on potential NPI programs related to the development, validation, and modification of engineering solutions based on customer feedback and factory inputs.
Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on engineering topics related to nuclear manufacturing, ensuring compliance with AS standard product requirement and nuclear energy-sector standards.
Growth and development: In close collaboration with the People Leader based in France, ensure the technical and behavioral skill development of the Product Engineering team, fostering knowledge in product manufacturing (design feasibility, manufacturability)
Remote Coordination: Maintain strong communication and alignment with the Product Engineering Leader and central engineering teams in France.
Problem Solving & Support: Actively participate in or lead root cause analyses, technical investigations, and the resolution of complex manufacturing issues, as well as the follow-up of engineering corrective actions.
Process & Documentation: Ensure that engineering documentation, processes, and change management are properly implemented and maintained in accordance with the internal quality system and applicable regulations
Autonomy & Initiative: Operate with a high degree of independence, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and driving initiatives locally
Product Safety: Be informed and consider the regulations inherent to the design and safe production of the products concerned and take the life cycle into account.

Profile & Qualifications
Engineering degree (Mechanical, Nuclear, Industrial or equivalent).
Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering roles within the nuclear or highly regulated industrial sectors.
Strong technical foundation in manufacturing processes, product design, and industrial problem-solving.
Demonstrated strong mechanical-design fundamentals on Generator and Turbine products.
Proven ability to work across functions and geographies.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Experience working in international environments and matrix organizations.
High level of autonomy, initiative, and accountability.
