Senior Engineer (Civil Construction)

We are seeking applications for the position of Senior Engineer (Civil) for New Delhi Railway station redevelopment project based at New Delhi.

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of structural engineering projects, collaborating closely with the project director, architects, and contractors.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure the timely completion of all building structure-related activities.
• Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the integrity and safety of building structures. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal project teams, architects, and external consultants to integrate building structures seamlessly into the redevelopment project.
• Liaise with relevant authorities for approvals and coordination specific to building structures.
• Stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and best practices in structural engineering.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams involved in building structures.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including structural design drawings, specifications, and project reports specific to building structures. Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation throughout the redevelopment project.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets related to building structures. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Ensure the safety compliances, conduct safety training as per group policy, mainly 3S training.
• Ensure every team member must have gone through Business Ethics and Compliance training.
• Ensure every project member has knowledge of the Environment Policy of the company.
• Ensure each member of the team has gone through 9 Lifesaving Rules.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience:

• Total 2 years experience in a similar position and project for B.Tech (Civil) graduates.
• OR, total 5 years experience in a similar position and project for Diploma (Civil) holders.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with Systra Group policies, particularly on ethics, safety, and adherence to Company ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards.
