Job responsibility:
o As a technical engineer for utility-scale energy storage systems, focus on the pre-sales phase and work closely with the sales team to conduct customer visits, gather customer requirements, address technical questions, and provide technical guidance.
o Interpret tender documents, understand customer requirements, carry out necessary clarifications, and prepare compliant technical proposals accordingly.
o Based on the technical solution, provide technical clarifications to both sales and customers, as well as necessary technical presentations and solution optimizations.
o Coordinate with HQ teams to submit required documentation for customer RFP or due diligence on time, and accompany customers or their representatives for site visits and due diligence activities.
o For awarded projects, collaborate with customers, sales, and commercial teams to support contract negotiation and finalization from a technical perspective.
o Complete project-related information handover, risk identification, and approval initiation in accordance with company processes and templates, ensuring project risks are controlled and that projects are accurately handed over to the post-sales team.
o Understand and keep up with technical and engineering requirements and trends in the energy storage market, and study the competitive landscape to support ongoing development of product technical solutions.

Job Requirements:
o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Energy Engineering.
o Fluency in technical English, both written and spoken.
o More than 3 years of experience in the pre-sales field for utility-scale energy storage projects.
o Working knowledge of battery systems, power conversion systems (PCS), PPC/EMS/SCADA, and grid connection processes within the jurisdictions under responsibility.
o Familiarity with grid operator processes and requirements.
o Solid understanding of applicable regulatory requirements and standards for BESS systems.
o Ability to perform sizing and configuration of PCS and battery systems.
o Familiarity with design concepts related to short-circuit protection, conductor sizing, thermal management systems, safety systems, and related engineering topics.
