Support the life cycle (start of design through production and end of life) of Infineon's Enterprise Power Point of Load (POL), Power Stage and Power Module products in the India design Center. The primary function is to verifying the functionality and characterize the parametric performance of the products. The position also involves working on DCDC products from concept through product development. Lastly the position will include supporting key local India customers on EP's additional products of multiphase controllers and power stages.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
Validate and characterize the performance of the Power Stage & Power Module products- Test various functions/Data sheet parameters and validate the performance of the product.
- Create Fit for Use'Document.
- Work with the Design team to improve and optimize the performance of the products.
- Specify MOSFET, driver and packaging technology requirements for the POL products.
Develop Automation script using Python for test validation.Perform simulation and hands-on development in the area of high-frequency, low voltage buck systems (
Develop product target datasheets and act as technical interface between the Infineon R&D teams and customers.Work with internal development teams to develop new products, validate these products in the lab and support customer design-in activity once the product is available.Create go-to-market evaluation boards, datasheets, application notes, design tools for new products. The supporting material will be used to aid in the design-in process and to answer customer questions.Support customer design-in and development of Enterprise Power's power solution in server, storage, telecom & datacom applications using digital multi-phase controllers, power stages and point-of-load converters. The design-in activities includes schematic & layout reviews, board bring up, full system-level validation and debug of technical problems.Provide technical guidance and support/train the local FAE team on EP products and applications.Benchmarking of competitor's products and generation of promotional material and collaterals (test reports, application notes, white papers) for product promotion.Provide local support for product design-in and debug to Infineon's key customers.
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- B.E/Btech or M.E/Mtech preferred
- 1-5 years of hands-on experience in high frequency, high current, high-density DC/DC designs.
- Knowledge of power conversion topologies, magnetics and control system design with extensive lab skills to test and debug of switch mode power supplies.
- Knowledge of power MOSFET, gate driver requirements and parameters.
- Proficient in using schematic entry, circuit simulation, and PCB layout tools
- Excellent customer interaction and support skills
- System-level modelling experience with Simplis/PSpice
- MathCAD and Excel for circuit calculations
- Python software for Automation.
