Job Description

  • The Application Engineer plays a critical role in bridging the gap between engineering and customer requirements. They are responsible for understanding customer needs, designing, implementing, and supporting technical solutions, primarily focused on applications within the manufacturing environment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer oriented communication abilities.
    • Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers during the implementation phase, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions to ensure smooth integration and operation of applications.
    • Customer Interaction: Engage with clients to gather requirements, understand challenges, and provide technical solutions tailored to Product Development Team.
    • Solution Design: Collaborate with internal PDT technical teams to design and Develop, Product configurations, or integrated systems to meet customer specifications.
    • Product Demonstration: Conduct demonstrations of applications or prototypes to showcase functionalities and validate performance against customer requirements.
    • Testing and Validation: Conduct internal testing and Field validation of applications to ensure reliability, scalability, and compatibility with various manufacturing environments.
    • Documentation: Prepare technical documentation including specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides to assist customers in understanding and utilizing applications effectively.
    • Training: Deliver training to sales and service teams on the new product releases to familiarize them with the functionality, operation, and maintenance of applications.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices in manufacturing processes to suggest improvements and enhancements to existing applications.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their evolving needs, and provide proactive support and guidance to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum 4 5 years Proven experience in customer satisfaction, manufacturing engineering, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions and exceeding customer expectations.
Required Skills

  • Strong ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Experience with Excel, dashboards, or analytics tools.
  • Communication Skills – Hindi, English, Tamil.
  • Ability to clearly present insights
  • Translate customer feedback into business impact.
  • Deep understanding of customer/Stake holders behavior and needs.
  • Ability to think from the user's perspective.
