Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of Adaptive AUTOSAR component testing such as COM, persistency, cryptography (ISO-21434), diagnostics using Vector tools and integration with Jenkins test orchestration.

Lead the validation of base software components, communication stacks, network management and diagnostic services.

Collaborate with the test team in the development and optimization of test strategies automotive software compliance testing, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Firmware, digital signal processing algorithms, and Quality Assurance) to define test requirements and review product specifications.

Maintain a detailed understanding of the automotive industry's regulatory and safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, ASPICE) and ensure the team is compliant.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

MUST TO HAVE:

Strong experience with AUTOSAR architecture (Classic and Adaptive) and associated test methodologies.

Excellent understanding of Adaptive AUTOSAR communication stacks such as SOME/IP, SecOC, DoIP, and E2E protection.

10+ years of experience in software testing in the automotive industry of embedded devices.

Strong proficiency in Python, C++ programming and relevant libraries/frameworks for test automation.

Hands-on experience in developing test-cases using tools like - Vector, CANoe, CANoe

Practical knowledge of verification and validation means using testbeds and simulators.

Perform debugging and root causes analysis of software defects.

Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices using Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket.

Working with Agile methodologies - sprint cycle for test-case development, system and integration testing.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and break down into simple sprint stories.

Proficiency in test-case development with Docker/Kubernetes

Nice to Have

Deep understanding of automotive software systems, including embedded systems, ADAS, infotainment, or electric vehicle control software.

Experience with JAMA for requirements management software (or equivalent)

Experience with JIRA for defect tracking and familiar with Agile methodologies.
