About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilledSenior Embedded Engineerwith strong expertise inEmbedded LinuxandPCIe protocol development. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge ofPCIe (Gen4 and above)and hands-on experience developing and debugging embedded systems at both hardware and software levels.
Exposure toAI/MLoraccelerator-based systemswill be a strong plus.
The engineer will work onfirmware development for Zero Motorcycles electric powertrain systems software that drives high-performance electric motorcycles.
Core Responsibilities- Design system architecture for motorcycle powertrains, sensors, and rider interfaces
- Develop, code, test, and debug embedded software for electric vehicle systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate and validate new designs
- Build test infrastructure for comprehensive feature coverage
- Optimize system performance, stability, and efficiency
- Review designs and specifications with team members
Must Have Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of embedded systems engineering experience
- Strong experience with embedded systems software and hardware
- Expert-levelC programmingskills
- Experience withRTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems)
Nice to Have- Experience withNXP S32K Processors
- Knowledge ofpower electronicsandcircuit design
- Background inautomotive powertrain or EV systems
- Experience withembedded databases
- AUTOSARandISO26262training or experience
