About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Embedded Linux Network Developer to integrate a third-party traffic filtering and classification agent into a custom-designed Smart Filter board, built on the Qualcomm IPQ4019 platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Embedded Linux (OpenWRT, Yocto, Buildroot)
- Network stack: iptables, netfilter, NFQUEUE, conntrack
- Qualcomm IPQ4019 SoC (ipq40xx target)
- C / C++, Bash, optional Python
- OTA update mechanisms
- Optional: familiarity with QSDK or UCI system
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in Embedded Linux development.
- Hands-on expertise with OpenWRT or Yocto build systems.
- Experience in integrating user-space network agents or SDKs.
- Familiarity with iptables/NAT bridging and packet inspection
- Autonomous in cross-compilation and SoC development.
- Perfect fluency in English (especially oral).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with IPQ4019, DR4019 board, or Qualcomm targets
- Familiarity with bridge-mode deployments (inline filtering)
- OTA and secure update management
- Previous integration of traffic monitoring or filtering stacks
