Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead hardware architecture and design for embedded systems, including component selection, block diagrams, power design, and sensor integration with electrical wiring interface specifications.
- Develop and document hardware and software interface specifications.
- Test and validate systems to ensure they meet operational and functional requirements.
- Assist in validating and monitoring supplier performance for product integration and compliance.
- Solve hardware and software interface problems over the entire product lifecycle.
- Research technology advances for potential application to customer and company needs.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Drive value realization across the product value stream and build capability through first principles of engineering.
- Guide hardware engineering teams in best practices, document them, and mentor junior engineers.
- Own design reviews, support regulatory compliance, and foster a product development mindset.
