About The Role

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer experienced in designing and managing electrical systems for high demand in rail station/depot electrical power systems including substations, LV distribution, UPS, generators, earthing, and lighting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop power distribution layouts, SLDs, calculations (cable sizing, VD, fault levels).
  • Support procurement: datasheets, material requisitions, vendor reviews.
  • Coordinate with architecture/MEP and ensure constructable documentation.
  • Support site queries and commissioning interface support
  • Lead the electrical design process for industrial and utility buildings, focusing on power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and equipment installation.
  • Develop detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and load calculations to meet project and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including MEP, structural, and architectural, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections and supervise electrical installation to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling efforts to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion

What do we need from you

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Masters in Electrical Engineering.
  • 1214 years in major building/infrastructure power design.
  • Strong standards knowledge (IEC/IEEE) and ETAP study experience.
