1.Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
2.Minimum Qualification
BE / B.Tech or equivalent from a recognized university.
10-12 years of experience in electrical designing of buildings and factories.
Design experience in MEP consultancies will only be considered.
3.Job Responsibilities:
Understanding the project requirements.
Checking design calculations and space planning for Electrical and ELV services.
Preparation of design basis reports.
Power distribution schematics, SLDs, ELV schematics
Lifts , escalators and travellator design
Providing guidance to draftsman and engineers for making layouts and drawings and checking the same.
Co-ordination within department, architects and other disciplines.
Preparation of tender document (EPC as well as item rate based) including estimates, material take offs, Rate analysis, tender specifications, scope of work, Schedules etc. in accordance with DSR/State PWD schedule.
Conducting market analysis for tender rates and related technical products.
Preparation of technical reports, site visit reports and MOM
Attending meetings & site visits as and when required at any location.
Construction documents, guidance to draftsman for making GFCs
Shop floor drawings and product data checking.
Technical Skills Required
Good understanding and in depth knowledge of subject.
Excellent communication skills.
Good knowledge of relevant codes and standards including green building norms.
Electrical load calculations.
Transformer, DG, UPS, Solar sizing.
Fire alarm and life safety system design and calculations.
Earthing and lightning protection calculation.
Cable calculations
Arc flash and short circuit calculations.
Vertical transport analysis.
Lux level calculations and lighting design.
CCTV, LAN, Access control, security system, AV and VOIP design.
BMS, SCADA and automation system design.
Please note that consulting firm experience is mandatory for this position.
