Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and manage Dynatrace agents across on-premises, AWS, and Kubernetes environments.
- Build custom dashboards, alerts, and monitoring views tailored for various teams and business units.
- Collect, integrate, and analyze observability data from cloud, on-prem, and containerized environments.
- Develop and maintain distributed tracing, notebooks, launchers, logs, openpipeline, workflow, Grail, bizevents, Real User Monitoring (RUM), Synthetics (HTTP & LDAP), and Dynatrace extensions.
- Integrate Dynatrace alerts with PagerDuty for event orchestration and incident management.
- Write and optimize Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) scripts for custom data analysis and reporting.
- Automate agent deployment and configuration using tools such as Ansible.
- Utilize Dynatrace APIs for advanced integrations and automation workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and improve system reliability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace observability tools.
- Proven expertise in setting up and managing Dynatrace agents in on-prem and AWS environments.
- Strong background in building custom dashboards, alerts, and monitoring views.
- Experience integrating data from cloud, on-prem, and Kubernetes environments.
- Proficiency with distributed tracing, notebooks, launcher, logs, openpipeline, workflow, Grail, bizevents, RUM, Synthetics (HTTP & LDAP), and Dynatrace extensions.
- Experience integrating Dynatrace alerts with PagerDuty.
- Advanced skills in writing DQL queries.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible for agent automation.
- Experience working with Dynatrace APIs for integration and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Dynatrace, AWS, or related observability/monitoring technologies.
- Experience with other monitoring and automation tools.
