We are looking for a passionate and experienced .NET Developer (Engineer 2) with 4+ years of experience in building scalable and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET technologies along with hands-on experience in working with multiple databases and messaging systems. In addition, this role personally develops and delivers code modules, stable application systems, and integrated enterprise software solutions within various computing environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using ASP.NET Core / MVC / Web API.
  • Design and implement backend services and RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Work with relational databases including MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle for data modelling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Integrate and manage messaging systems using Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in .NET and cloud ecosystems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in .NET development.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API.
  • Experience with Entity Framework / EF Core.
  • Solid understanding of MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache/Confluent Kafka for distributed messaging.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks (Angular/React is a plus).
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) – Nice to have.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) – Nice to have.
  • Exposure to unit testing frameworks like xUnit, NUnit – Nice to have.
  • Understanding of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus – Nice to have.
