Senior .NET / Azure Engineer Cloud Modernization (FinTech)
About the Role
Grid Dynamics is seeking a Senior .NET / Azure Engineer to join a high-impact cloud modernization initiative in the FinTech domain. This role focuses on migrating complex, business-critical components to Microsoft Azure, leveraging cloud-native and microservices-based architectures.
You will work in a senior, hands-on engineering capacity, contributing to architecture decisions and delivering scalable, production-grade solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Azure
- Lead modernization of legacy applications to Azure-based microservices
- Build and deploy services using .NET Framework and .NET Core
- Implement asynchronous and event-driven integrations using RabbitMQ and Azure Service Bus
- Work closely with Tech Leads, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery
- Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making
- Troubleshoot complex issues across development and production environments

What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core
- Solid experience working with Microsoft Azure, especially AKS and Azure SQL
- Experience building microservices and distributed systems
- Practical exposure to application modernization or cloud migration initiatives
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex engineering environments
Nice to Have
- Experience in FinTech or Banking domains
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with performance optimization and scalability
