We are looking for: Lead Software Test Engineer – (Domain Test- Transmission Network Analysis)
You'll make an impact by:
- You are a master in Modeling and Simulation of Power Transmission and Distribution Electrical Networks.
- You have at least one proven hands-on experience of an end-to-end commissioning of SP7 Distribution Applications functionalities (such as Power Flow, State Estimation, Load Forecast, Reactive Energy Control, Voltage Control, Fault-Location / Isolation / Service Restoration, Optimal Feeder Reconfiguration) for a Spectrum Power 7 project, on-site, for End Customer's dispatchers.
- Responsible for the testing and delivery of Transmission network analysis module, in accordance with the customers requirements and interpersonal quality norms. Activities to be performed include:
- Requirement analysis and design of manual test cases based on requirements and architectural /design guidelines.
- Test execution of features and/or bug-validation and delivering solutions in accordance with testing guidelines and timely with high quality.
- Identification and implementation of integration tests to ensure solution addresses customer requirements, and quality and security requirements of product are met.
- Design Test cases based on Requirement.
- Perform System Test, Integration Test, Performance Test etc.
- Performing relevant documentation (requirement/design/test specification).
- Ensuring testing and submission of results in committed delivery timelines.
- Performing regular technical coordination / review with partners and ensuring timely reporting and critical issues if any.
- Supporting Scrum master for planning, ensuring risk identification and initiating steps towards risk mitigation.
- Preparing and Reporting test and bug statistics to the management and business partner.

- You must have BE / B.Tech / MCA / ME / M.Tech qualification.
- 7-10 years confirmed experience in Software testing and Test Design techniques.
- You own the Foundation Level certification 4.0 from the ISTQB® Certified Tester Scheme.
- Power system solution product like SCADA
- Applications like EMS, DMS and OMS
- Protocols like IEC 104, DNP-3, Mod-Bus, and IEC 61850
- Test Management Tools like TMS, X-Ray
- Defect Management tools like JIRA
- Must have good analytical, debugging and tracing skills.
- Knowledge in Test Automation is added value.
- Sound knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle processes
- Experience with Agile/Lean practices
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive work style.
