Job Purpose
This position is open with Bajaj Finance Ltd.
Duties And Responsibilities
A-Minimum required Accountabilities for this role
Ensuring Compliance with applicable Data Protection and Privacy Guidelines and Acts (such as DPDPA, DLG, etc.).
Creating awareness among employees and designing training materials on Data Privacy.
Identifying personal/sensitive data via discovery scans, classifying data and guiding stakeholders on appropriate handling of the same.
Defining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with data privacy standards.
Assisting with the BRD development and co-ordination with stakeholders for solutions related to Consent Management, Consent Revocation and Data Erasure.
Designing DFDs, maintaining ROPAs, performing PIAs and DPIAs, as per internal requirements.
Closure of identified gaps in PIA, Internal Audits and Statutory Audits.
Managing stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Operations and IT to ensure smooth functioning of daily tasks. Additional Accountabilities pertaining to the role
Participation in management reporting and governance committee presentations
Assisting and co ordinating audits
Prepare management reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Perform trend analysis as compare to outcome of previous values of KRIs
Key Decisions / Dimensions
- Identification of right contacts for get required data on time.
- Review the data and decide. .
- Review and decide if closure evidence shared are sufficient to close the audit observations.
- Decide if the policy and procedure documents need changes based on new regulations or audit outcomes.
Major Challenges
- Handling of fast changing regulatory expectations
- Handling of compliance expectations in stringent timelines
- Handling multiple stakeholders at a time
- Coordination with third party consultants who assist in auditing and compliance initiatives
Required Qualifications And Experience
Minimum qualification required is computer graduate with minimum of 4 Years of experience in information security
- Work Experience
- Team player who can collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments and is eager to learn more about the domain and industry.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Work & PPT.
- Basic knowledge of MS SQL, Java, Python, Linux is an added advantage.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering/M.B.A/ LL.B or any other relevant Information Security or Data Privacy Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Desirable: CIPP/CIPT/CIPM/ISO27701
