Job Title: Domain Consultant/Pre Sales – EdTech

Location: Bangalore

Years of Experience: 13+ Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Domain Consultant / Pre Sales – EdTech with strong product engineering foundations and extensive exposure to presales, consulting, and professional services. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving technology solutions across the education ecosystem, including Higher Education, K12, and Digital Learning platforms.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong business orientation who can collaborate across practice, delivery, marketing, and sales teams to define go-to-market strategies, lead solutioning efforts, and engage directly with customers to deliver impactful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture and design for EdTech initiatives and client engagements
  • Drive solutioning for RFPs/RFIs, proposals, and customer presentations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (practice, delivery, marketing, and inside sales) to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the EdTech domain
  • Define and shape scalable, innovative solutions across Higher Education, K12, and digital learning systems
  • Engage directly with customers to gather requirements and articulate compelling value propositions
  • Contribute to annual strategy planning, capability building, and offering development
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to delivery teams during implementation
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business goals and technology solutions

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong experience in solution architecture and product engineering
  • Proven exposure to presales, consulting, and professional services
  • Deep understanding of EdTech domain (Higher Education, K12, LMS, digital platforms)
  • Experience in handling RFPs, proposals, and client presentations
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and articulation skills
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology solutions with business outcomes

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning ecosystems
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern architectures (microservices, APIs)
  • Exposure to data analytics, AI/ML in education, or adaptive learning platforms
  • Familiarity with global education standards and compliance frameworks
  • Experience in building reusable solutions and accelerators

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification is a plus
